I have to submit my uni / course selections soon. I honestly dont know what i am going to do. I am taking Desgin and Technology, Physics, Economics at Alevel and maths to AS. Out of those subjects i enjoy DT the most, followed by economics, then physics and finally, least of all maths.

I was looking into being a computer scientist but it is very maths based and i dont want to be stuck at a computer all day, but i dont mind using one as part of my work. I am skilled with a computer, i manage several websites that get thousands of hits everyday but i dont have an qualifications in IT. I also looked at engineering, but that is also very math based and i am afraid i will strugle, im having a hard time with it at AS level as it is.

What jobs are in the Desgin and Technology world, that arnt extreamly math based and give a good pay (I dont want to be capped at 30,000 for the rest of my life). Please help in anyway you can, i would really appreciate it. Any suggestions / advice welcome.

James

I'm in the exact same position as you are. I'm 17 and I'm also having trouble finding a job that I would truly be interested in. Since this post is probably pretty old, I don't expect you to reply. But if you do, it would be most appreciated. See - Ya!
