I have alwaye been a medicore worker, not really working hard because I have no motivation to do that not sure why but it just seems that I cannot make it.

The other employees are far more productive than me, I am working as a casino pit clerk. My biggest probelm is mathematics, although I know accounts very well I simply cannot work out all those sums in my head quickly like the others do.

What is wrong with me, why is it I cannot keep up with the other and feel incompetent ?

If mathematics is a problem, take a course. Start with an easy one, then take a harder course. Education is an excellent way for improvement. It will also build your confidence & hopefully increase your motivation.

Ya, even though you might feel dumb or incompotent in taking another course or two in mathmatics, you are truly being smart in investing in your own future. You don't need to take an Algebra or Calculus or any other difficult math course, but just a basic course, to refresh those basic math skills, and perhaps pick up a tip or two to complete the math faster. Best of luck!
