Hello friends,
I graduated from a technical school a few months ago. I trained for a few years in jewelry design and repair, and I really would like to break into the jewelry design market. Usually, you would think, “Get an internship.” The problem with getting an internship in jewelry design is that it is very hard to do! There are barely any opportunities for someone like me!
It seems that this site offers some good educational packets that I might buy. Do these look like a good idea to anyone? I also think that maybe if I got a membership in Jewelers of America it might look good on a resume. It looks like there are a few certifications I can apply for on that site. I just wanted to share this with anyone who might be looking.
Does anyone have any tips or help for me in getting into this difficult market?
