I would like to ask your career coach which is the best "life coaching online certification"?
The ones I found on the internet did not look like they were accredited by any official body.
Please help me

Yeah, and there's a problem with that online situation. Meaningless pieces of paper don't go down to well in some parts of the world. Anything that's not accredited, forget it. Employers won't look at it, and clients won't trust it, unless they've been living under rocks for the last few decades.
You can ignore anything that says you can do these courses in a few months, too. Without the practical experience, you're not "counseling", you're guessing. If you bear in mind what "life counseling" really means, you get my point. You have to be able to hit situations and problems correctly, and in life counseling, holistically, in context with the person's life situations.
Real counselors get professional accreditation, and do full degrees. National qualifications vary a bit, too, so you'd be advised to check out courses in Canada.
I don't know, from your post, what your line of work is. If you're working in an advisory service, or doing work in other forms of counseling, you can get some mileage from employers for further studies.
Courses in this field aren't quick, or cheap. There are significant time and cost commitments. I'd suggest you look at pre-certification levels, to get some management and cost controls built in, however you approach the courses.
Having had a look at some of the garbage being offered online for Canadians, I suggest you check with local professional career counselors for local accreditation, and maybe some startup advice about how to approach qualifications. Some real universities will also have at least a clue or several about where to find the right courses. |
