| For over 10 years now ive wished to work with animals (marine mammals in particular). Ive decided that i want to conserve not only them, but their environment. I dont only want to work with marine animals, but land mammals as well. I'd like to keep it general as far as WHAT animal. I want a well rounded education in most all of them. I want to work towards convervation and rescuing animals. Some exampleswould be to help tangeled marine mammals caught in shark nets, or to clean baby seals or penguins after an oil spill.....I'd also like to travel around doing this, flying wherever they need me to be. How to I build my status? I have no idea what direction i need to go in as far as college to pursue this goal. What classes will I need And what major? And how far? And how can I inform the world about conservation and how important it is? |

Well, you need to get some information about colleges which have as profile environmental science (marine biology etc etc). Here's a list of some USA universities which have this profile, I'm sure you'll find something suitable with one of them.
About college, you'll probably do everything you have mentioned in there, including the travelling part, as a practice period. But the most fun, interesting and useful part of the whole thing will be achieved when you actually have a job in the field.
And here's the promissed link:

Good luck! |
