I'm planning to move to Liverpool, UK. I was born in Brazil but my father is Italian. I have this letter in Italian that says I am an Italian citizen as well as a Brazilian and Italian passport. According to my father, I am an EU citizen and should have no problems working in the UK. Is this correct?
What are the first things that I should do upon arriving in the UK (i.e.; acquiring a social security number equivalent, etc.)

Thank you so much Smile

FIrst, have any letter or document translated correctly in English and aproved by an authority. Don't taker the "I'm an European citizen and I have the right to work in UK" for granted, because UK has still maintained some exceptions to foreign job seekers.
Have a look at this article to see what else you need to do>

Good luck!
