Hi All,

I am preparing my CV for UK job search and I have got some doubts.

In my previous job, I attended some internal trainings and right now I am some certification course, which will be finished by the end of December. Do I have to add them in my CV?

If yes, please tell me what will be the section heading.

Thanks in advance.

Hi kalyogi,

I was also searching for great tips on CV writing and at first I was so shocked that my CVs were in fact trashed. That was frustrating for me. The problems with my CVs were the grammar. I also don't know what to put on my CVs if I have to include my achievements etc.. Then a friend of mine referred me to this site http://www.interviewmastermind.com This site rocks and is a great source. Then I tried it and now I am happy that I don't have any problem in writing CVs anymore. Now, I am proud that I have my dream career.

Hope this helps you.

Hi Kalyogi,

If you attended internal training courses with your previous employer, you should definitely include them in your CV, especially if they are relevant to what a particular recruiter wants.

The same goes for current training activities that you are undertaking. The very fact that you are trying to develop yourself will make you attractive to a recruiter. Definitely include it.

As for what you would call the section, my suggestions would be;
Training; or
Personal Development; or
Training and Personal Development.

Hope that helps.

David.
