I am currently working as a clerk in a telemarketing company my manager wants me to move on to sales and basically change my pay from a basic wage to a commission based one. I have a family a mortgage and a dog and I am truly not into risk. I think I could be an efficient sales man ... although the techniques go against my Morales ....
not sure if I should go into this blind folded .. although now .. i think I should try it for a couple of days and see how it goes ...

I don't think a couple of days is enough time in sales to be able to tell. How about you suggest to your manager that stay on a basic wage while you try sales for 3 or 6 months, then you can discuss at the end of the period. This will allow you to evaluate the situation & if you are not happy, it allows to start looking for another job.
