I have been on unemployment since 2/1/09 and my initial 6 months will be up at the end of this month. How do I apply for an extension. I heard that I should get a notice in the mail but have not as yet. How long is the extension for?

I have the same question my NJUI runs out in Sept

Do I need to apply for an extension or is it automatic.

Hi there,
Mine was automatic. I just called in on my scheduled day and that was it.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of another extension? I didn't see anything on the web site but my sister said she heard they were extending it yet again due to the high rate of unemployment. Any info would be much appreciated.
