Free Career and Job Search Advice

Hi, i've just been and had 2 interviews with a retail company. I obviously past my first interview to get a 2nd one and when it came to my second one it went fine to. The women that interviewed me was really nice, we descussed that if i got the job i would have to travel along way, so it would best suit me if i had a long hour contract. She said she would ring me either the same day or the next day. So i waited. I got the phone call, she told me that there was only had 8 hour contracts left and that it wouldn't really be suitable for me. So she said she was going to send my Cv to one of the closer retail company's that had longer hour contracts and that they would have to interview me so they could meet me. I said that was fine.
That was last friday and it's now monday, i haven't heard anything and i don't know whether to ring them or just to wait.

Anyone have any ideas??

It is possible that their HR people only work monday thru friday, so I would not be surprised. I would try to be patient and give thema few more days to get coordinated and in touch with you. If tehy have not called you by Friday, I would call the original lady to see if you can find out what is going on. Do not call the second one as she might be confused if the first one has not made contact.

try ringing the woman who said she would pass your details on. remember with stuff like that its more important to you than it is to them.
