Hi all,

Well i'm in a mess Sad

I've been with my current employer since July 2008 and I signed a contract that states I must give two calender months notice.

I wrote them a resignation stating I am giving them 4 weeks notice.

Is there anyway I can get around giving two and only give one? The company have already stated they will not waiver the second month.

Alot of people are suggesting I simply do not turn up for the second month.

Can anyone shed some light on what I can do? I plan to call Acas and Citizens advice tomorrow but it'd be nice to hear from someone on here.

Cheers

Gavin
