Dear members, please i need any one who can help me to find a job since i have failed to find one and spent the last 14 months as a work less failure, i really tried every think possible to get a job in the field i like (networking and security) i hold CCSP , Security+, Fujitsu Siemens certifications and a B.Sc in computer science, ( my dream is to work on Cisco products because Cisco is a fun for me not only a profession) after i failed to do so i tried to get a help desk job also failed, i wrote my CV with a professional assistance from (ciscoassociates.com) i have 5 years of experience in the networking field, i also has a knowledge in securing networks with cisco security appliances and worked with cisco routers and switches also an acceptable level of knowledge in implementing and managing windows 2003 network infrastructure, my problem started when i had to leave my job as a network administrator in a company in Iraq also i left my country (Iraq) because of the war crisis there, i moved to Lebanon and since work permissions are not allowed for Iraqis here in Lebanon i could not start a job, i tried to find a job opportunities in any other place( i had some offers from Dubai, USA and did well in the technical interviews but i could not obtain a visa because of the war crisis in Iraq so Iraqis are facing a big difficulties traveling to other countries, i posted my CV on many Job sites like (monster, bayt, gulftalent, ciscoassociates, bradreese and many otrhers but i did not get any response, also i contacted Brad Reese personally and he greatly supported me by publishing my case as a story in networkworld.com also i had some help from Cisco partner talent portal and i received some job offers but the same problem again, i could not get the work visa to relocate to a third country and start to work , now i am running out of resources and i feel hopeless as if i will never get any kind of job, please if any one can help me i will be so grateful

First of all, do not give up. Dust yourself off and get back out there, back to work looking for work. I recommend trying at least a couple different searching methods rather than just internet alone, and try to keep as organised as possible.

thank you Lexa for your reply, i never stopped searching but i really started to feel that it is useless if i can't move to other place , my CV as shown below:

Other than a few small formatting things, I think you are good to go!

I really hope it works out for you. I do have one recommendation,a nd I think I am going to give this one a try myself: when searching try for soemthing of of the ordinary. It might not sound like the perfect job or something in your league, but it could be the path to success.
