Usually at the end of the interview, the interviewer asks you if you have any question for them. Sometimes candidates get tensed and ask very silly and irrelevant questions. It is important that you ask intelligent and relevant questions. Therefore, make sure you prepare some questions before the interview so that you can learn more about the company and the position.

Here is a small list of questions you can ask the Interviewer:

1. Can I know more about the Training and the Induction Programme of your company?

2. What brought you to this company and what keeps you motivated to stay part of the team instead of working for one of your competitors?

3. What attracted you to this organization?

4. How do my skills compare with those of the other candidates you have interviewed?

5. Can I have your feedback so that I can learn the pros and cons about my performance and hence improve myself?

6. What is the most important contribution that this company expects from its employees?

7. What advice would you give to someone in my position?

8. Can I learn more about the work culture of the company?

9. Can you let me know about the company’s commitment to equal opportunity and diversity?

10. Does this job lead to other positions at the company?

11. Tell me some of the skills that you want in a candidate for this company?

12. What do you like most about this company and why?

13. How is this company doing in comparison with competitors?

14. How many employees work for this company?

15. How long is the Training Period?

16. What kind of Hardware or Software will I be working with?

17. What opportunities for advancement are available here?

18. What has been the company’s layoff history in recent years?

19. What major problems has the company recently faced?

20. What is the company doing to maintain its market strength?

21. What are the people I will be working with like?

22. How often are performance reviews given?

23. How do you feel about creativity and individuality?

24. Does your company offer either single or dual career–track programs?

25. What do you like best about your job/company?

26. What qualities are you looking for in the candidate who fills this position?

27. What skills are especially important for someone in this position?
