Hi, I'd like to ask if I can add my 4 references when I'm posting my CV. I know that I should put them forward just on employer's request but as they are very good I think it might help me in application process. What's more I'm sending my CV to companies in other continent (South Africa) so the employers will have as much information about me as I can give them...What do you think?
Do you have any advice when sending CV to other country? Is here anything specific I should write to CV or cover letter?
I'm going to post and also email my CV with a cover letter (without references).
Thank you very much for the answer. |

Of course you can place those references in your CV. at the end of it. I'm sure you have the format of listing a reference. If not, you can try to browse thise very site, because you have it somewhere on the sitemap.
It is good that you are also sending the CV and cover letter via email (even if you gotta pay attention and send them IN the body of the email...for safety considerents).
Now about sending them abroad. There is no strict rule which says you should have a special format of the cv and cover letter...depending on the country you apply in. It is advisable that you should build them as complex as possible, so that they contain all the info any country's specfic might ask for. |
