Hi ALL,

Greetings,Hope you are doing well.
***I am sorry for such a lengthy mail, but i wanted to explain my request

I worked for a company for 5.1 years from which i resigned last June.I was in the 1st batch to be selected by the company for working on solutions, etc for setting up their first India Operations.
A little more details:-
1.7 years was in Software Testing
Then shifted to Development.

MY performance appraisal was very good for 4 years and i was recognised and awarded for the best associate.

But from last year July 2008-Jun2009, I joined a new team-and during the last 6-12 months before leaving-I had a very bad experience in my last team.
I underwent a lot of bullying and often humilated by my reporting Manager before everyone. He never appreciated my work done but instead-
my Manager made big issues and constantly reported the Senior management that i cannot do things, always do mistakes and HE gave me a very bad apprisail "I had
to make things fine in 1-2 months, after which i will be removed"

When i saw the statistics,i was shocked and I was very disappointed to find that the statistics given to the Senior Managerr and Human Resources had MANIPULATED data and also extra data were put to fully show that I am of no use and rather overhead.

I fought with all my correct data but as usual the Senior Magagement always wanted to prove me as culprit only otherwise they would be in problems.

During this time,a very tragic incident happed at home and a close relative expired and no one was there at home. So,it was must for me to leave and there was no surety how much time will it take
to settle things at home and finish all rituals.after all this,i resigned giving "PERSONAL REASON"

Now,after coming back ,I want to write to the Director of the Testing Operations for consideration of re-hire in any position in Testing Operations.(not the above development)
Well these Testing Teams are sperated and monitored by a different head and people.t team)

So,i needed write a letter to him in a very CAREFULL way so that i CAN BE CONSIDERED FOR TESTING TEAMS (***CITING THAT 4 YEARS APPRAISAL IS VERY GOOD INCLUDING TESTING***)and also doesnt concentrate much of the last 6-12 months bad appraisal given deliberately to me ,BUT since i left for a PERSONAL REASON and so consider me for my very good performance
when i was in Testing activities and the initial development(4 years). Also,i am a recognised CCL instructor.

I feel that I should be considered because I have met all expectations for 4 odd years although the last times were bad but again there are discrepanies.
Please please help by writing a letter in a sense of request?I need your help. javascript:emoticon('Sad')Sad Sad

I've got some reservations about your approaching a company which doesn't investigate a strange turnaround in your performance and doesn't check its own records and logs of your work. Doctoring records after the event wouldn't cut it with competent management. If there was a real problem, why wasn't it reported at the time? They should have asked about that.

If you really want to do this, you'll need to do pretty much what you've already said. Just focus on testing. If anyone asks about anything else, just say there was a dispute, and that nobody mentioned any of these things to you at the time.
