Really, it's going to depend on what sort of job you're going for, how much emphasis you need to put on your work history.
If you say you're trying to get away from jobs like that, nobody's going to argue the point.
You need to stress skills, and a desire for a career as your motive for applying for a job.
The gaps in employment need to be seen as part of searching for a better job, or covered with some positive information.

Remember you don't need to go back too far in your CV. The information you give should just stay relevant to the application. You should just use recent jobs, like back a few years.
It's not that uncommon that people have patchy job records. If you do a good job in the interview, that should overshadow any doubts about the work record. |
