Hello Friends How are you all.
I need some valuable advice and I would be highly gratefull if you kindly guide me.
My name is Sabir Yousuf.I am from karachi pakistan. By profession I am Banker,have vast experience of of commercial Bank branch Banking.Previously I did Marine Engineering served 3 years for merchant navy.Due to some family problems I quit that field and joined the Bank and did MBA and DAIBP(Banking Diploma).
I got Australian immigration sponsord by Western Australian state on the basis of my qualification and experience.I will reach perth in January 2010.
I am so confused what should I do when I reach perth to get some australian education and experience which is necessary in getting
a decent job in perth.
1)Should I enroll in any fianancial serives diploma from TAFE to get some idea about the working of financial institutions in perth as I have fair idea about the working of credit protfolio and lending process in my native country
Or should I directly go for any Masters program on the basis my MBA and Banking diploma which i have done in Pakistan and will i get
any exemptions in perth?
2) My bachelor degree is commerce base(B.Comm) and I studied accounts and finance subjects in my MBA and DAIBP program, so what
you will advise, should I join NIA or CPA qualifications( NIA authorities replied me that I can enroll in their Associate membership) but I don't know how it is difficult to pass all the exams and would It be advisable to some what change the career from financial sector to purely Accounts side or do you think its makes no differnece as both are finance and business fields.
Or Should I strive for setting up a small business in perth? If so what kind
of a business will be suitable for new immigrants?
Again I shall be extremely thankfull if you kindly reply me in some details.
