i've applied for quite a few jobs as a personal assistant...and thus far i've been turned down every time...i don't know if it's because i'm in my twenties still and i don't have enough experience or that i don't have enough referrals on my resume.

i have great credentials. i take the initiative to get the job done right, i have pretty good social skills and can adapt quickly to challenges and changing business environments

But it seems to me that just about any little twenty year old with size 36 chest and blond hair with zero experience and horrible credentials will get the job with the snap of my fingers.

what then is it that a boss looks for and how can we be a good personal assistant?
