    Salary Negotiation Tips For Applicants

After all the exams and interviews that you as an applicant underwent, everything would essentially fall into the one common question and that is "HOW MUCH" is my salary, "how much could you pay me". Below are some simple tips for salary negotiations.

    Patience
You must first be able to show your skills and working attitudes before expecting a higher salary. Show to the employer that you are a potential investment in their team.

    Know your standard rate
It would be best to research in the net the standard pay for the position you are applying for. There you can start to formulate how much should be your asking price with regards to your experience and skills.

    Learn to stand up
You want a job but unfortunately the employer salary is too small, and you know deep inside of you that it is not enough. There you must learn to say no and turn down the offer. Always remember that the employee who feels properly rewarded cares about their job and cares about making the effort.

    Everything must be legal
In negotiating your salary, everything must be written down. Every benefit, or pay raise that is promised to you by the employer should better be in legal working document and not through verbal negotiations only.

I like the tip of finding out the standard pay for the position we apply on the Internet. If we do this, we will know how much more we can ask depending on our experience.
