Need your advice about job offer

Hi all,
I received a job offer on 28 Oct by email without phone call notice. I feel very strange about this employer.
After consideration, I accept this offer by the end of this day (also reply by email) and conform to them that I can start work on 2 Nov (because now I'm free). Does it make them see that I'm desperate?
After 2 days, I receive another email from this employer suggest me that i should start on 10 Nov after I complete all the paperwork by early of next week. (without phone call notice again)
It make me feel very confused. I don't know how to respond to them that I agree their suggestion in formal and I'm not desperate.
How do you think about this employer?

Only you know if this is the best situation for you. If you think something is wrong, then listen to that.

by the way they made contact with you by chance or you had applied there already?

i think your should verify the reliability of that job and employer first. you should investigate about their company/organization background and analyze what and why they would be looking for.

there may be 2 reasons of this situation

1) they dont need employee immediately
2) they want to check your reliability through making you engage in some formalities.

take decision with care.
