Hi, My Name Is Ruan, And I'm From South Africa.

I Have A Slight Problem..Well, Not Exactly Slight. But Never The Less, I really Hope Someone Here Can Help Me Out.

I'm A Web Developer/Designer, And Have been Doing Web Design For Over The Past 2 And A Half Years. As With Every Job Description, You Learn New Things Everyday, And You Learn From Your Mistakes, Which At The End Of The Day, Counts Towards Your Personal Skills.

I studied Web Development From Home, For 3 Years, And Have Been Working From Home Ever Since (As A Part Time Personal Business).

Well, Today, i Received A Call From A web Design Company, One Of Which Is Extremely Popular Here.

The Lady Seemed Quite Kind, And Told Me That She will Be Emailing Me An Application Form Concerning My Personal Achievements, Certificates, Diplomas
And So Forth.

The Thing Is, I Dont Have Anything To Show Her, Except For The Websites I Have Done, Which Includes My Own, And In Which She Was Quite Impressed.

I Do Have The Knowledge That Meets The Company's Requirements, I Know That For A Fact.

But I Have No Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees And So Forth To Show Her.

What Should I Do?

Please Help Me?

Hi Ruan,

You may actually have good chances to get that job if the "interviewer" is impressed with your work. However, if that is a big company, you may enounter probles as I am sure there are a lot more people applying for the same job. However, you should try to show them your work, You never know...

But how comes you have no diploma. None whatsoever? Like highschool, college diploma, things like that?

Anyway, good luck. I'm curious about the results.
