to staple a 2-page resume or not?

I'm wondering if it's appropriate to staple a 2-page resume?

Do not staple the resume, even if 2 pages because it can still be placed side-by-side to view the whole resume at once. If you have a 2nd page, put your name on top of page 2 (header). By doing this, if the 2 pages are separated they can be easily put back together.

Whether it is 2 or 3 or even 4 pages, they are usually not stapled. Just have your name & page number at the header at the top.
