Analyst or Software engineer?

I did my graduation in computer science, I worked in text analytic project for 1.5 years after that they closed the team and my work role is shifted to analyst team. Now I am working as market research analyst for the past 6 months. I do enjoy both analytics as well as technical works. Being a computers graduate will I get good career opportunities in analytics field? Shall I shift back to technical works or what do people do if u are in my place?
