    Totally changing careers - CV help!

    Hi,

    I am employed as a heating engineer - which is fairly well paid, comfortable and i enjoy.

    However, I have seen a job doing something completely different (recruitment - sort of) that i want to at least apply for.

    How should i start my personal statement? I have no experience in the new role - and so don't want to start with a negative!

    Not to worry - you can definitely phrase your search for something new in the positive.

    Some motivations might include:

    Seeking new challenges
    Seeking to expand your skill set
    Desire to work more with your strengths
    Want to work more with people
    Want to break into a new industry
