What should I go back to school for?

    Hello!
    To give you my background...
I graduated from college in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Major: Sociology. Minor: Psychology.
Needless to say, I am having difficulty finding something in my field and intend on going back to school.
My problem: What do I go back to school for?
Ideally, I would like to make over 70K a year. I would like to make this amount of money so I do not struggle with bills and can support my future family.
What I am good at: working with numbers
What I like: working with society, eventual flexibility for when I have a family of my own
What I do not like: presentations
Positions I have considered that I need more classes to get into the relevant program: Physician Assistant, Anesthesiologist Assistant, Pharmacist
Additional ideas: Industrial Organizational Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist
My personality: friendly, I do not normally think outside of the box, I am not overly creative, I take things as I see them
Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi Lany1985,

If you are good at numbers and are not creative, then accounting may be for you. You could work for a firm and/or build up your own practice. The latter would offer you flexibility if/when you have a family.

More broadly, you may want to look into a business degree, as having one yields potential great earning power and much flexibility. Most (if not all) occupations have a business component, and there will always be a demand for business skills.

    Good luck!

I think LPN will be very nice. If you like to help others and would enjoy being in the healthcare field, this is a great career with much fulfillment and benefits. You can view a full salary range here.
