    Career advice please!

I'm close to completing my degree at this college (link), and wanted to get some perspective on my career options. When I first enrolled in this program, I meant to become a mediator, but I'm not exactly sure whether I want to go down that career path. I've going to meet with an adviser soon, but I wanted to get the community's advice first. Much appreciated!

Figure out what is causing that feeling that you might not want to follow that career. Are those feelings valid or is it simply the fear of change or the unknown? Talk about it with the adviser. If it turns out, this isn't the field for you, figure out what it is you really want and jump straight in by searching for another degree or job in that field.

What is making you so unsure this is the career you want?

I think I'm just a bit nervous at the job market and the prospects out there. But thanks peanutbutter, I will give the adviser a call.

And thanks for the article, MichaelMyers, will definitely check that out!

I was nervous too when I first started to apply. When you've gone through the process a couple of times, those nerves disappear quite easily. There is a right job for everyone out there; the trick is to find out where to look for it and then go get it.

    Stay positive!

    You are doing alright

The experience of going through a career development is fun and your counsellor is going to make exciting. One thing you should is to understand your passion if it is in alignment with your dreams, just because you like something doesn't mean it's right for, until it has gone through a verification process to determine the geniueness of that choice. We are all in battle with ourselves the trick is to be on the winning side.
