Free Career and Job Search Advice

unemployed.

I have been unemployed for almost 7 months. I am 56 years old. I have alot of experience in office work, such as administrative assistant, secretarial, receptionist and customer service. If someone please can direct me to an agency or an employer who hires women 50 and older I would be most appreciative.

I would try to look for jobs similar to your old job using several methods rather than just relying on the internet or the paper alone. You need to find something where they are looking for experience because they had a bad experience with someone younger!
