I received a letter saying I have to go to an "unemployment eligibility review" next week.

My last claim was put in a week ago; at that point I decided it would be my last because it's almost up anyway and I've entered a living situation with the help of a relative where thankfully, I won't have the wolf at the door for a while. I've never been comfortable collecting UE; it's never something I've had to do before. My relative is going to help me out until I get back on my feet.

The letter came about a week after my last claim. I didn't put in a claim this week either and don't intend to.

I don't want to go to this thing. They have a section that says if you're now employed write the date you started and the employer. Even though I'm not employed yet is it still necessary for me to go if I'm not going to be collecting anymore?

I have been applying for jobs but they have all these rules about making "personal contact" and about 95% of the people I called said "just apply online". I also don't keep great records so I'm afraid they're going to give me grief.

Any help is most appreciated.
