well,i have been fired from a lot of jobs.this should be interesting for most of you,as i have had more jobs than most any 5 people who read this combined for their collective lifetimes!LOL
was i at fault?sure,i am not perfect at all,but i do hold myself to very high standards, and very much dislike being treated badly, and unfairly.
was i at fault all of the time? no. many times it is a ploy of some one who has more influence over the boss than he should, and he is usually a lesser skilled worker than i am.
the reasons i have been fired run from out right fabrication to the bitter painful truth.i have been fired after catching up all the "slop" the other employees could not keep up with after working for a week and a half.i have also quit after 2-3 hours on the job, when i realized i made a huge mistake and the new guy was a really big jerk and very unreasonable to work for.
what i have learned from all this? in my case, most of the reasons are bunk, and dont put a whole lot of stock in those reasons.you can get over and beyond being fired.i went through 9 jobs in the summer of '94. be open and honest with your new prospective employer about your firing from the old job.
it is not the end of the world, and it is very painful.we identify so much of us with our jobs.your job does not really define who you are as a person.it merely is what we do during the day to let us provide for our families and ourselves.
for those of you who just got fired,or will be fired,or have yet to be fired--a nice cold beer to you!!!
and welcome to your new job--finding a new job!you will have to fire yourself from this one eventually!

I believe that you are a phenomenon you cannot have had so many jobs.Did you tried to count them? You might challeenge the world record for the most fired guy Laughing
My opinion is that you have some serious issues if you had 9 jobs in a summer time and you didn't found one to suit you.

I'm curious enough to hear all about it Very Happy Nevertheless, I think my brother is the champion. He's had 13 jobs two summers ago and 12 the past summer. Imagine that.

I'm happy to see that people watch this firing issues like this, with smile on their faces.I believe that this happens because of two motifs, they've past the firing moment and that job wasn't meant for them.
I have only one thing to ask you:Do you know if there is any kind of "job firing world record" and how big is this?

Smile)

Let me tell you something. In the USA and in the Western European countries, this firing thing has started to be viewed with less fear, especially by youngsters. We ahve come to a point where we know our value and we want it to be recognized and awarded appropriately. Then, we are accomodating very fast to different necessities, so it's not that hard to refuse an offer. The youths today are very very ambitious and witty.

In the countries of Eastern Europe is different because here once you've found a job place and it pays well you must be stupid or too proud to quit a job just because of some incoveniences. The reasons for this situation I believe are poverty and the fact the all the countries in this area are not democratic countries yet.

Things are starting to move in the Eastern Europe as well. The reason for which STABILITY is preferred to better paid job opportunity is the system.
I mentioned that things are starting to move and I'm gonna remind once again that the youngsters have developped another set of principles, desires and ambitions, which is good. Not really afraid of losing a job. I'm working in advertising and I've embarked in 3 agencies up to now. Probably will switch again cause other companies want me.

I'm really surprised and happy in the same time to see that a guy from MOLDOVA has the power to say that he will change his job whenever he wants to if another company has a better offer and salary. My opinion is that the eastern society will change once with our children.

Oh, things are already changing...These kids coming from behind are so ambitious and have so many dreams, they will definitely change the mentioned situation. However, unemployment will still exist and bad paid salaries the same.
If safri works in advertising and his services are desired, it's natural to be open to such offers.
Indeed, "a guy from MOLDOVA", but actually we should say "another guy from Moldova". Not all Moldavians who have come to Romania are drug dealers or spreaders Smile I myself know some working at the newspaper. Really hardworking.
