I had an interview last week and the interviewer asked me a "Hero" Interview Question- Who is your hero professionally? I got confused and told her that there is no hero for me. I am the one who does the job and I make my best to do it right. Still it was very strange to have been asked this question. Anyone can tell me what she wanted to know.###

You should have given another answer. She wanted t know if you have an ideal in life and a model to follow, in which your profession is regarded. A simple answer of "I don't have a hero in particular" would have been better than "I do things myself, my way, I'm the best, I have no hero"...I'm sure you get my point.
However, the interviewer chose a tricky (or maybe uninspired) item when asking the question. Perhaps "role model" would have been better. When we hear "hero" we think at something else beside something related to a job or a profession.
