I have a good relaitonship with the company I am working for and have always tried to be fair, honest and hard working. I have resigned. It seems that the CEO has taken interested in my resignation and is asking who is my next employer. I know why : he is worried that i will be working for a competitior. In fact i kind of am .... I am opening up a new company. I am under a lot o fpressure to tell them and not sure if this is a good idea or not.

Well it sounds like your not in an enviable situation either way. If you tell them then you could have some pretty major competition right off the bat, but if you don't then you are severing several of your friendships. I would probably tell them as there is not much they can actually do after you leave. Sure they might want to get revenge on you and your company, but in the end its going to be the best company that wins, not any revenge factor. Good luck!
