My boss just called me and told me i have to take a tempory layoff for a month because we've been very slow. My question is I work in mass and i live in new hampshire. Which state would i file in? Thank you

Maybe the state that you live in? I am not sure how that works. Why don't you inquire from both states via website or phone and see what they say to you? Other than that I have no idea what you should do.

You should apply for UC Benefits in the state where you reside and pay taxes. Your UC Benefit premiums are usually paid to that state.
