There's some very good advice there, Richard.
I especially like the part about making sure you're able to delete your CV again. My guess is that most don't give any thought to that until they get a job and perhaps decide to take it down. Mind you, having said that, I've known so many people to just post their CVs willy-nilly on the Internet that they couldn't even remember where they'd posted them!
I have to admit to being somewhat slack myself when it comes to making notes of everything I sign up for but at least those places don't have my personal details. With all the talk about Internet identitfy theft these days, you'd think people would be more cautious.

Yeah... if you're concern about your privacy yes.
But for myself I consider that a CV is like a business card - the more people that see it, the more chances to get a good contract / a good job / etc... so for myself I don't worry about who can see my CV or if I can delete it at a later time... |
