HI!
I've just announced my boss that starting with 30.06.2006 I will not be working here anymore (personal reasons);
But I still have 14 vacation day. And I don't know if I can take may days or they will be paid (that will me around 100 euro per day);
I'd prefer to be paid for 6-7 of them and for the rest to be able to go on a holiday with my familiy.
Do you think is possible? |

| In general your vacation entitlements are payable to you whether you are terminated or you resign. As for your preference to take some of the days off, you can work someting out with your employer. |

Here it is a common practice, specially when the vacantion days are well paid. probably the answer will be positive, and if they haven't found yet a replacement for you they may be the ones to ask you accept to take only part of the holiday and the other part to be paid. |

I believe the sooner you ask, the better. You & the employer should be able to work something out by discussing. |
