Hi there

Online jobsearching using Professional and Social Networking sites is the way forward. Companies no longer have the budgets to finance the big recruitment agency fees. Many jobseekers do not realise this and are still waiting for agencies to call or seeing a job in the paper.

My mate works in Dell as an internal recruiter. She has no budget for hiring and ONLY sources people through lLinkedIn - I think it is partiicularly relevent to those at middle-senior management level.

The thing to remember is "the more you put in the more you will get out of it". It took me days to gather up my connections I have 420 connections now, but it took hard work and 420 is nothing compared to alot of people. I was targetting HR Managers as they are the people I want to do business with.

Remember when using LinkedIn WHO you are targetting. If you are a Marketing Manager - you need to join Marketing Groups, Executive Groups to target MDs or HR & Recruitment Groups.

Great tips there !
