Do you think that working in another country might be the right sollution for you? What determines you to leave your country and work some where else? The salary is the only reason for this decision or there are other facts?

Several factors i guess. But mostly what I gather from friends who go overseas to work is solely for the Overseas working experience. And when they eventually come back home to look for a job, having overseas working experiences gives you an edge compared to others.

Some others look for jobs overseas cos the opportunites are better there. For e.g, i've got quite a few colleagues from Philipines working here in Singapore and when asked why they chose here, its because the firstly the job market is bad in philipines, but good in Singapore, plus the pay is better too.

So i guess it depends.. depends on things like Opportunities, experiences, culture, job market, money, even for safety reasons too Smile

You an I both know the conditions in Romania...even more, maybe you know the conditions in Moldavia. I left it and came to Romania....to me it's not a foreign country, even if more and more people there tend to view it like this.

Personally, I have a better life in here, cause the salary is way bigger than there and the possibilities are far more than in Moldavia. However, most Romanian young people want to leave abroad because they are not satisfied with their life in here...and for them...I must say it is not satisfactory indeed. It's like me working again in jmy country...

Also...I have to mention that there are jobs in Romania which are extremely well paid. Unfortunately, they represent I think 10-15% of the total...so...I guess these are someof the explanations.

Italy is overwhelmed already ad Italians do not have a very good opinion on Romanians...As you might know over 50% of the Romanian immigrants have chosen the path to Italy....I can see why they are fed up with us...

Spain....a lot of Romanians in there as well./...but the predominant status is that of the WORKER...so...they still need us.

France and England are smart enough not to open the door entirely.

There are advantages and disadvantages regarding Roamnia's and Bulgaria's entering the UE. The fact remains that I'm afraid of the countries mentioned being overwhelmed by people who will not go there just with the purpose of working.

We shall live and we shall see, right?

PS: I'm from Moldavia, but am living in Romania for 5 years now.

I'm 23 years old.
I moved to China because I knew that the money I would make in China would go further. I make about $1400 USD a month in China and it seems like im making about 10,000 a month, because it goes so far.

I like my lifestyle here. I didn't know much chinese when I arrived, but I learned quick. It took me 1 month to learn the basics. Now its been 4 months and I'm in the Elementry level.

In a world that is getting smaller and smaller, people are more concerned about the roles of their jobs rather then the country they will have to perform it in.

Europe is a perfect example - companies from the west are increasingly interested in employing highly skilled professionals regardless of their countries of origin, and the highly skilled workforce - the new generation of professionals is willing to move anywhere in the world in order to catch a good offer.

Salary has a small role to play. It is more the job and its responsibilities that drive people to travel outside the borders of their countries.
