I have been a caddie on the golf course ever since I was a teen. I would now like to explore more opportunities for a better job in golf. Can I become a golf course marshall or something else? I have fair knowledge about the game and related activities as I have carrying golfers’ clubs for quite sometime now. How and where do I go about this?

Why don’t you log on to Golf Help Wanted . I am sure you’ll find great help in the site. The site will provide you with job requirements in the golf industry and since you already have know-how about the game, I am sure you won’t have a problem in getting a better job.

Your best shot here is to become a golf pro. This seems to be the top of the range, a B.Sci focused on golf. http://www.methodist.edu/pgm/
This is apparently a PGA approved major, with PGA accreditation.

It's debatable whether you can wing it much in this area. These are good jobs, and the probability would be that you'd be competing with people with this type of qualification. Suggest you sound it out, see what you can do, and also check out alternatives. You may be able to get some training opportunities in jobs like that which would go well with getting the degree down the track.
