Casino job ? the pit clerk

The pit clerk works in the part of the casino where the games are monitored. He helps the pit boss in track keeping of the gamers? average betting. It is an entry-level position that also entails researching of the betting record that is used in calculating computer rates. Markers are issued on command of the pit boss and entries done on the computer according to instructions.

If you are interested in a casino job as pit clerk, you will need good typing skills and some data typing history. Many people start at this position and move to dealer positions later on. You work on an hourly rate of $5 to $7 and wont have tips to supplement your income. It does however provide you to opportunity to build contacts and experience.
