In what format should I save my CV if I want to email it?

The text format saving is used to ensure that all employers are able to read your CV. The limitation with this is however, in the formatting. You cannot use special fonts and formatting to make it more attractive. The best option is to save it in MS Word and then attach it to the email. If you are looking for a job in presentations or the media, you should consider PDF format. PDF should however not be used in any of the other employment sections unless requested.
