How can I make my CV scanable?

Use white A4 size paper and write only on one side of the paper. Print it out with a laser printer and avoid too small fonts. Leave 2.5cm margins. Use capital letters rather than bold to indicate section headers. Use one column only and one and a half line spacing. Don’t use italics and avoid graphics.
