Use the combination CV when you have a firm background associated with your career goals and objectives. The combination CV includes the best of the functional and chronological styles. You can also use it when each position or job you held had unique responsibilities. Don’t use it when a short CV is requested or when you have several unexplained employment gaps, or when you don’t have enough work experience.
