The greeting at the Job Interview
Stage 1

The interviewee says hello, and adds some sort of content about the job, usually, I know the problem, I've been flat out doing..

Doesn't sound like much, does it? However, even speaking, at this point, and getting the interviewers familiar with your speech patterns is a help. You've given them a frequency to tune to, while they listen to your answers. You've also made a comment about something to do with business, indicating knowledge. One sentence is enough to establish some level of contact.

You don't have to be this analytical. If you're a real pro, and you speak the language of your business, just make it clear that you can speak the language during the greeting. A lot of interviewers aren't professional interviewers, either, and the sooner they get comfortable with communications, the better for all.
