How do I become a pharmacy technician?

In order to become a pharmacy technician, you will have to go through a program of formal education and obtain job experience. The first step in the process is to graduate from high school. Then you must attend a technical or vocational program in order to get your pharmacy technician certificate. This process typically takes about a year to complete. Then after you graduate from your pharmacy technician program, you can take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam. This is an optional exam that you can take that will give you the title of Certified Pharmacy Technician.
