What are the qualifications for operating room nurse jobs?

In order to be considered for operating room nurse jobs, you have to go through a great deal of classroom education as well as hands-on experience. You first need to get a bachelor's degree in nursing to become a registered nurse. You will have to take a state licensing exam in order to be certified as a registered nurse. Then you need to get additional certification as a Certified Nurse in the Operating Room, or CNOR. This process takes an additional two years and 2400 hours of experience in the operating room. Then you take a test to become certified.
