What education is needed for entry level computer science jobs?

In order to get into entry level computer science jobs, you could potentially go after an associate's degree from a community college. You could potentially get into an IT (information technology) technician role with an associate's degree. Some computer science jobs do not require a specific degree from a university or college. Some companies will actually train you from the beginning without any prior experience or education in computer science. If you get an associate's degree, this will generally increase your odds of getting an entry-level job, but having this type of degree is not always required.
