Should my resume say that I was fired from a job?
If you were fired from a job, you may have some trouble creating a resume. When making your resume, there is no reason to include information about being fired. While you do not necessarily want to lie about being fired, there is no reason to volunteer the information to future employers. If the employer wants to know if you were fired, they will ask you. Bringing attention to it upfront is simply asking for trouble. This can reduce the likelihood of getting the job that you are applying for. You are in charge of what information goes on your resume.
