Depending on your circumstances, licenses, practicing certificates, and other related additional qualifications can be job-getters. The tendency in employment is that a related series of accreditations have been becoming common requirements.

The classic broad-spectrum cases are things like drivers licenses, forklift licenses, and other fundamental qualifiers. Drivers licenses can be anything from standard to class-level licenses for heavy vehicles. Forklift licenses are another basic standard, very necessary for OHS reasons and proof of competence. Another class of license relates to construction equipment, and things like backhoes, farming equipment like harvesters, all pretty much essential knowledge.
The irony is that some of these licenses are so vital that they're in a class of their own as qualifications.
In business, licenses like secondhand dealers? licenses, hawking and vending licenses, wholesale and retail licenses are statutory requirements. You literally can't work without them. Regulations establish a formal structure for business for protection of consumers and local administration purposes. A person breaching license conditions can be put out of business, simply by revoking the license.
In the tourist industry, a range of permits relate to the business. travel agents are licensed, as are tour operators. The same regulatory situation applies. In real estate, the requirement for licensing is a real estate agent's certificate, which allows recipients to practice. It's both a qualification and license.
Chemicals, hazardous materials, and a wide range of industrial processes require licensing of various kinds, mainly related to safety and storage of dangerous materials. Only licensed people are allowed to handle these materials. Even fertilizer has licensing requirements.
General certifications
In many cases these certifications are essential for the work.
First aid licenses are granted after successful completion of a course in first aid. Anyone else is operating in the dark, legally.
OHS certificates are becoming mandatory in the construction industry, to enforce work safety provisions in what is historically a very dangerous workplace.

Justice of the Peace qualifications are available to anyone, and are frequently considered extremely useful in law, government, and finance.

Security licenses are usually mandatory. The security guard may additionally be required to carry a gun, requiring further licensing, criminal background checks, and other screening tests.
