Responsibilities included: aligning posts, using lines or by sighting, and verifying vertical alignment of posts, using plumb bobs or spirit levels, assembling gates, and fastening them into position, using hand tools, attaching fence rail supports to posts, using hammers and pliers, attaching rails or tension wire along bottoms of posts to form fencing frames.
