Most of the casinos have security personnel in uniform. The security officer is stationed on the floor or at entrances and is in constant connection with surveillance personnel. He reports to the security supervisor regarding suspicious actions or objects in and around the casino. The security officer needs to be assertive and able to deal with difficult situations in a discrete manner. It is a starting position and requires no previous experience. Many students work at casinos as part of the security staff during the summer holidays. The starting salary is low but you can move up to the surveillance or supervisor position.
